Rules for presentations
- Don’t waste the audience’s time telling them things they already know
- Present at most 12 slides, no matter the length of the talk
- Do not have an overview slide
- Do not read text from a slide
- Visual, visual, visual
- Make each slide an image or a quote, possible with captions
- Present examples before general rules
- No complex slides, whether text or images
- Do not ever, EVER, go over time
